I have read about Designer Fashion Workshops (DFW) offering short courses in chuvaness' blog third week of January this year. This was truly an answered prayer because I have always wanted to take Sewing and Patternmaking workshop. I got in touch with DFW right away but unfortunately, there was no available slot anymore. I ended with what was available then - the Fashion Styling workshop since I already have promo airfare tickets for all the Saturdays of January to March 2011.
God is extraordinarily wondrous in His ways! I took a detour of my plan, from Sewing and Patternmaking to Fashion Styling class but it turned out to be a Blessing in disguise. He put me in this workshop because He knew I can do well in this field. The best part of having attended this workshop is that the assignments, researches, mood boards and the internships unlocked all the creativity in me.

I am so blessed to gain much from our mentor, Ms. Millet Arzaga. She also gave us the opportunity to meet the master photographer Mr. Jun de Leon. They are both so generous and all out in sharing their knowledge and experiences in the Fashion Industry.
Lastly, even though we only had eight sessions in this workshop, our class has bonded much in all the activities that Miss Arzaga gave us. I miss you all my dear classmates! ;)

Kudos also to Miss Jessica Tan-Gan, DFW's Marketing Coordinator for being so accommodating in all our queries and supportive in our decisions. Thank you DFW!
